Fresh & Natural Makeup

Hey guys :)
This is a look that I've been rocking for a longggg time, maybe because I'm a bit lazy and I hate wearing makeup, ummm yea u heard right. I don't like the feel of heavy foundation on my face so when its not necessary for full coverage I opt for this dewy glowy look. With spring in full swing and all the trends that go along with it we are seeing more of this look in our favorite magazines, gracing the faces of numerous starlets and even on our local catwalks, do you dare to go natural? It is a look that is more suited to clearer skin types, that being said my skin is far from perfect, yet with a little concealer and a great skin care routine you too can sport this look confidently. I think thats the "key" word for this look, it doesn't utilize much products , so your face is almost bare, there is no mascara or bright lipstick to hide behind so confidence is essential to own this look regardless of if you have flawless skin or are sporting a zit the size of a small country :)

  • Facial cleanser - I use Biore Clean things up gel cleanser
  • Homemade Toner - I mix glycerin and rose water to create a hydrating, refreshing and gentle toner for dry skin
  • Extra Hydrating cream - Himalaya Herbal revitalizing night cream ( available at pennywise) very organic product contains phytonutrients like apple extract, green tea extract and cucumber extract that soothe and hydrate the skin. This was cut out of the video to save time.
  • Moisturizer - Clean & Clear Morning GLOW moisturizer (The orange top bottle )
  • Foundation -Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation in Golden Caramel oily/ combination skin formula
  • Concealer- E.L.F. Complete Coverage Concealer palette in medium
  • Eyeliner - Urban decay 24/7 liner in zero
  • Cheeks - Avon Tint n' go all over tint stick in watermelon
  • Lips - Kleancolor auto lip liner in natural and E.L.F. lipgloss in mauve
  • Highlight - E.L.F. Shimmering facial whip in golden peach
  • Powder - E.L.F. Complexion perfection powder
  • Brushes - E.L.F. Duo Fiber Stippling Brush & E.L.F. Concealer brush

This Look is not only gorgeous but its also practical, being a busy mom myself who cooks, cleans and works full weekends, it comes in handy as it usually takes me 10 minutes to throw this look together, I can assure you that with a little practice and patience you too will be a makeup speed demon in no time at all.

So hopefully I've inspired you to try this trend and who knows ... maybe you'll like it just as much as I do :)
